Terms of Service

By accessing or using scdown.com ("Scdown," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Scdown lets you convert and download publicly available SoundCloud audio to MP3, WAV, or FLAC, download full playlists and albums, and extract cover art, directly from your browser. A free tier is available with no account required; a paid Supporter tier unlocks higher audio quality and batch downloads.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Scdown. Free features are available to anyone without registration. Supporter access requires a valid email address matching a completed Ko-fi contribution, verified through a one-time login code.

Scdown is intended for personal, non-commercial, offline use of content you already have the right to access. By using the Service, you agree not to:

• —Use Scdown to infringe on any artist's or rights holder's copyright or other intellectual property rights.
• —Redistribute, sell, sublicense, or publicly share files downloaded through Scdown.
• —Attempt to overload, disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• —Use automated tools or bots to make bulk requests outside of normal browser use.
• —Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

All audio, images, and metadata accessed through Scdown belong to their original creators and rights holders. Scdown is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SoundCloud. SoundCloud® is a trademark of SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to download and use any content you access through the Service. If you believe content processed through Scdown infringes your copyright, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond appropriately.

Supporter access is sold as a fixed-term, one-time payment processed by Ko-fi (either a 30-day or 90-day pass). Passes never auto-renew and no recurring subscription is created. Once your pass expires, Supporter features are disabled until you purchase a new pass. See our Refund Policy for details on eligibility for refunds.

Scdown is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and functionality may be affected by changes to SoundCloud's platform that are outside our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scdown and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of access, or issues arising from third-party services such as SoundCloud or Ko-fi.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user found to be violating these Terms, without prior notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Scdown after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
